Turbine Air Ventilator works by utilizing the velocity energy of the wind to induced flow by centrifugal action. The centrifugal force caused by the spinning vanes creates a region of low pressure area which draws air out through the turbine. Air drawn out by the turbine is continuously replaced by fresh air from out side. The slightest breeze will cause the turbine to spin and even after the breeze has stopped, the fly wheel of the rotor cage will use its stored energy to contentiously remove air giving rise to ventilation. Suction is maintained even at low wind velocities.

Features:

  • Without power or operating costs.
  • Improves working conditions and thereby increases productivity.
  • Easy to install and can fit at any type of roofing.
  • Configured to meet required fresh Air Changes.
  • Runs on wind power.
  • Weather and storm proof.
  • Economical & Ecological.
  • No maintenance required.
  • Principally it works like Convective Thermal Currents, Centrifugal force to exhaust, Turbo design creates suction.
  • Constructively Strong, Light weight, Slight breeze enough to rotate the Ventilator.
  • High Temperature alloy material.
  • It is applicable to Factories, Warehouses, Workshops, Industrial sheds, Domestics applications etc.

Advantages:

  • Zero running cost
  • Dual Energy saver
  • Maintenance free
  • 24 hrs/365 days assured ventilation
  • 80% depreciation non conventional energy product

๐ŸŒช๏ธ Turbo Ventilator – Description

A Turbo Ventilator (also known as a Turbo Air Ventilator or Roof Ventilator) is a wind-driven, non-electric ventilation device installed on rooftops to extract hot, stale, humid, or contaminated air from inside a building and allow fresh air to circulate. It operates using wind energy and thermal convection, making it an energy-efficient and eco-friendly ventilation solution.

๐Ÿงฑ Key Features of Turbo Ventilators:
FeatureDescription
Material Stainless steel, aluminum, or FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic)
Operation Wind and thermal-driven (no electricity required)
Design Circular dome with multiple vanes (blades) that spin
Mounting Base Flat, slope, or customized based on roof type
Size (Diameter) Typically ranges from 14" to 24" or custom
โœ… Advantages of Turbo Ventilators:
  • Zero Energy Consumption – Works without electricity

  • Continuous Ventilation – Runs 24/7 as long as there’s airflow

  • Reduces Heat Buildup – Lowers indoor temperature naturally

  • Controls Moisture & Humidity – Prevents mold and corrosion

  • Improves Air Quality – Removes smoke, fumes, dust, and odors

  • Low Maintenance – No motors or electrical components

  • Corrosion-Resistant Options – Suitable for harsh weather or chemical exposure

๐Ÿญ Common Applications:
  • ๐Ÿญ Factories and workshops

  • ๐Ÿงช Chemical and pharmaceutical plants

  • ๐Ÿ“ Poultry farms and livestock shelters

  • ๐Ÿ  Warehouses and storage units

  • ๐Ÿข Commercial buildings

  • ๐Ÿšฝ Public toilets and washrooms

  • ๐Ÿ  Residential attics or kitchens (with proper installation)

๐Ÿ”ง Types of Turbo Ventilators:
TypeBest For
Aluminum Turbo Ventilator Lightweight, general use
Stainless Steel Ventilator Rust-prone, coastal or chemical areas
FRP Turbo Ventilator High corrosion resistance, industrial use
Hybrid Ventilator Wind + power backup (for low airflow days)
๐Ÿ”ฉ Installation Requirements:
  • Roof Opening: Requires cutting a hole in the roof at the desired spot

  • Base Plate: Matches roof profile (trapezoidal, sloped, or flat)

  • Fixing Method: Screwed or clamped with sealants for leak-proof fitting

๐ŸŒ€ How It Works:
  1. Wind flows over the curved vanes of the ventilator.

  2. This causes the rotor to spin, creating a suction effect.

  3. The suction pulls hot/stale air upward and out of the building.

  4. Fresh, cooler air enters from lower openings, maintaining circulation.
